teté is a Toronto-based Brazilian artist. Her latest single is called “Asoleando” and tells the tale of a song that embodies the nostalgia of a warm encounter in the summertime. teté has experienced her upbringing and artistic growth in different countries like Mexico, England and now Canada. She uses her experiences and inspirations to create music that reflects her storytelling and performances. Trained with a jazz background with heavy influences in Bossa Nova, Neo soul, R&B, and Latin sounds. Her music is reminiscent of influences like Sadé, Cleo Sol, Lianne La Havas, Norah Jones and Kali Uchis. She isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of English, Spanish, and Portuguese music with her distinctively colourful sounds.
