Sulafa Elyas is a talented Sudanese singer and oud player born in 1997. She has a passion for music from a young age and began singing in primary school before taking up the oud in high school. Sulafa uses music to positively impact others by addressing a variety of emotional, social, and national issues without bias towards any specific group. She has received numerous awards for her solo performances and singing, including recognition for her work on International Women's Day celebrations at Ahfad University. Sulafa has produced several Sudanese songs featuring the oud and collaborated with the Tuareg band Imarhan from Algeria on "Lemon Bara." In 2021, she established her own band to achieve her artistic vision and is studying the oud at the Arab Oud House and modern music at the Global Music Academy in Khartoum to create a unique Sudanese sound
